blackout/brownout

the twelfth angel

just finished rereading it yestermorning. it made me cry, again for the second time around -- redundancy!!! aun. kasi talaga naman nakakaiyak eh... eto ung part na sobrang nagpaiyak sakin:

"Mr. Harding, sir ... ?"
Timothy had awakened. i rose, walked over to him and sat on the floor, next
to the wheelchair. "Yes, Timothy?"
"Do you pray for your little boy?"
"I sure do."
"Will you pray for me, too, when I'm dead?"
"Every time I pray for Rick, I'll pray for you too."
He nodded and smiled. "And as long as I'm here, will you still come and see
me?"
"I promise."

it's awful. knowing you're about to die and you only get to spend your last days in bed. for those who haven't read the book, the twelfth angel by og mandino, read it. it made me cry, even if i knew how the story would end. it's super inspirational.
